E-Waste & ITAD Software: Every Device Traced. Every Job Costed.

SynchPlus ONE runs e-waste recycling and IT asset disposition (ITAD) from the client’s site to the final outcome. Book the job, collect it, log every device by serial number, process it into fractions and recovered value — with a POPIA-aligned chain of custody the whole way and a profit-and-loss for every single job. Your collection fleet, weighbridge and stock run on the same platform, on-premise or in the cloud.

ITAD Is a Trust Business Run on Spreadsheets

Your clients hand you equipment full of their data and expect proof of what happened to it. Your margins depend on knowing what each job really cost. Most e-waste operators can answer neither question quickly.

“Where Is Our Laptop?”

A client asks about one serial number from a collection three months ago. The answer lives across a collection sheet, an intake spreadsheet and someone’s memory. Every hour spent reconstructing it costs you money — and the client’s confidence.

Data-Bearing Devices, Paper Custody

Laptops and drives arrive full of your clients’ personal information. If the custody record is a clipboard, you cannot show who handled a device, when, or what happened to it.

Jobs Priced on Gut Feel

You know the month was profitable. You don’t know whether the bank’s office clear-out made money once the truck, the crew and the dismantling hours are counted — so you can’t price the next one with confidence.

Collection Costs Disappear

Fuel, vehicle wear and driver time are real costs of every collection, but they sit in the fleet budget instead of on the job that caused them.

Everything an E-Waste and ITAD Operation Runs On

Device custody, processing, recovered value, collection logistics and the money — on one platform, so the job record and the financial record are the same record.

Client Jobs, Not Just Loads

Every collection is a job for a named client: what was booked, what was collected, where it went and what it earned. Jobs are traceable end to end, from the booking to the final outcome of every item in them.

Serial-Level Device Intake

Laptops, desktops, servers, phones and drives captured one by one by serial number or asset tag against the client job, with photos. Count discrepancies show up at intake, not in an argument three weeks later.

Chain of Custody & POPIA

Every hand-off and processing step is recorded against the device under an audit trail. Personal information is AES-encrypted at rest and fully dynamic role-based access keeps each user to their remit — the evidence clients want when their data-bearing devices are in your care.

P&L Per Job

Client service fees plus the resale and commodity value of what you recover, against the labour, processing and collection logistics spent on the job. See the margin of every job, client and job type — not just the month.

Dismantling as Processing Jobs

Breaking equipment down into metals, plastics, boards, batteries and residue runs as a processing job: inputs in, outputs by fraction, with a live mass-balance that tells you whether everything is accounted for.

Collections & Fleet Cost

Collection runs planned on the map and worked on the driver app, with proof at the client’s door. Fuel, maintenance and true cost per kilometre come from the fleet module — and roll into the job’s P&L.

Weighbridge & Bulk Stock

Bulk and mixed loads weighed in by category; recovered fractions held as bulk stock on weighted-average cost and weighed out to buyers and downstream processors, reconciled to stock.

Works Offline, On-Premise

Run it on your own server with local storage when connectivity is poor or client contracts require data to stay on site — or in our managed cloud. Same platform either way.

Roles for Every Station

Build roles for the intake desk, the processing floor, drivers, sales and management — each sees and does exactly what their job needs, and every action is attributable.

Book → Collect → Intake → Process → Recover → P&L

Each job is captured once and carried end to end — no re-keying between the collection sheet, the intake desk, the floor and the accounts.

01

Book the Job

Client, site, expected equipment and the service agreed — the job that every device, cost and rand will hang off.

02

Collect

A routed collection on the driver app with proof at the client’s door. Trip cost is captured from the fleet module.

03

Intake by Serial

Each device logged by serial or asset tag with photos against the job. Bulk loads weighed in by category.

04

Process

Dismantle and separate as processing jobs: labour captured, fractions out, mass-balance live.

05

Dispatch & Recover Value

Recovered devices and fractions sold or dispatched downstream, weighed out and reconciled to stock.

06

Fees and recovered value against labour, processing and logistics — margin per job, client and job type.

Profit and Loss for Every Job, Not Just the Month

A corporate refresh, a school’s storeroom, a bank’s branch closures — each job has its own revenue and its own cost. SynchPlus ONE puts them side by side, so pricing the next job is a decision, not a guess.

Job margin = client service fee + resale and commodity value recovered − labour and processing − collection logistics (fuel, vehicle cost per km, driver).

Roll it up by client, job type or collection area to see where the money really is — and which clients you are subsidising.

What’s Running Today, and What We Shape in Your Pilot

Running today: client jobs traced end to end, serial-level device intake with photos, chain of custody under an audit trail, POPIA-encrypted personal information with dynamic role-based access, processing jobs with mass-balance, collection routing and fleet cost, weighbridge intake, bulk stock and dispatch, and P&L per job.

Scoped in your pilot: how your data-sanitisation or destruction evidence is recorded against each device, client-specific report and certificate formats, and integrations with tools you already use — through our open integration module, which also runs on-premise.

E-Waste & ITAD Software FAQ

Common questions from e-waste recyclers and IT asset disposition operators.

ITAD (IT asset disposition) software runs the business of collecting, processing and disposing of retired IT equipment for clients. It records each device that comes in, keeps the chain of custody from the client’s site to its final outcome, and shows what each job earned. SynchPlus ONE does this on the same platform that runs your collection fleet, weighbridge, processing floor and stock.

Yes. Each device — a laptop, server, desktop, phone or drive — is captured at intake by serial number or asset tag against the client job, with photos. From there every hand-off, processing step and outcome sits on that device’s record, so you can answer “where is this unit?” for any serial in the job.

Every job carries its own revenue and cost. Revenue is the client service fee plus the resale or commodity value of the devices and fractions you recover. Costs are the labour and processing time captured against the job, and the logistics cost of the collection — fuel, the vehicle’s cost per kilometre and the driver — attributed from the fleet module. The job P&L shows the margin, so you can see which clients, job types and collection areas actually make money.

Not as a built-in certificate today. What the platform gives you is the device-level record — serial, custody, who handled it, when, and what happened to it — under an audit trail. How your wiping or shredding evidence is recorded against that record, and the client report format you need, is scoped and configured during your pilot.

Data-bearing devices carry your clients’ personal information until they are sanitised or destroyed, so the custody record matters. SynchPlus ONE encrypts personal information at rest, restricts each user to what their role needs through fully dynamic role-based access, and keeps an audit trail of every change and hand-off. That gives you and your clients the evidence of how each device was secured while in your care.

Yes. SynchPlus ONE runs fully on-premise on Ubuntu Linux or Windows Server with local storage, so the processing floor keeps working when the connection drops — or in our managed cloud with each customer’s data isolated. It runs in any country — on your servers or our cloud.
